Innovation Partners

Beacon Nation Innovation Partners are organizations or networks committed to developing projects and initiatives that align with Learning Guides themes. Innovation Partners will apply the Learning Guides to their own complex and vibrant health care environments. The actionable “how-to” information in the Learning Guides is designed to build and strengthen local health IT infrastructure, test innovative approaches, and make sustainable and measurable improvements leading to better care, better health and lower cost.

In addition to receiving the Learning Guides, Innovation Partners will receive recognition on the national level for their commitment, efforts and expertise in the use of health IT to improve population health, enhance health care and address cost. They will also have the opportunity for continued engagement with a learning network of Beacon Communities, other Innovation Partners, and national supporters in order to maximize the impact of the Learning Guides.

Innovation Partners are identified because they demonstrate existing commitment to health IT, frameworks of collaboration, and readiness to implement innovative health IT projects. Typically, Innovation Partners possess one or more the following qualities:

  • Are undertaking projects similar to Beacon Community projects and seeking experience in these topic areas
  • Are interested in expanding their expertise in a certain topic area/theme
  • Have the capacity/staff available to assist with implementation of Learning Guides materials
